Thank you Jeremy for drawing this map for me so I wouldn't get lost trying to find the bus stop =p.

But what are the million things wrong with Jeremy's map?

1. Cashew Heights Condo is smaller than the 966 bus stop.

2. Bukit Panjang Primary is bigger than Cashew Heights Condo.

3. Uneven roads.

4. Too many unnecessary arrows on roads.

5. There are roads drawn going in the wrong direction.

5. Dogs don't look like that.

6. Its very considerate and nice to remind me to 'look left and right' =D haha but ppl usually do that before they cross the road, not after.

7. The T-junction should have 2 more traffic lights.

8. Should not advise users of map (me) to jay walk across the road. (Instead you should get them to cross at the aforementioned traffic lights tt were not drawn in =))

Plus Points:
There's a big smiley face beside the word map.

Haha anyway its a really sweet and cute effort from a mafia whose talents do not include drawing.

It really feels weird/lame blogging on a dead blog. And kind of fun =D.

you can start coming at around 5pm. oh and i also want to find out who's interested to go swimming at the Sengkang Swimming Complex in the day. it is a recreation pool similar to the jurong east one. for pictures pls visit this site.

we surprise ourselves sometimes. we (and by 'we' i mean jeremy, char, al, eliza and me) actually managed to whip up a meal without burning eliza's kitchen down. now this is what i call freaky.

taa-daa! the final products!

stir-fried belachan lady's fingers with anchovies and dried shrimps
(done by me!)

pan-fried salted salmon if you can't tell what it is.
(done by me again!)

althea's SECRET RECIPE: boiled tau kwa.
(and not cubes of white nougat) ya we totally agree that boiling requires a lot of effort *blink blink*

jeremy's specialty dish: carrots, asparagus and chicken in red wine sauce (made using red wine that cost $124 per bottle, produced in 1994, sponsored by eliza's dad)

the staple food: oven-baked potatoes topped with butter and rosemary, jointly prepared by eliza, althea, char and jeremy.

i am glad to say that there were no major injuries, though althea unfortunately suffered a nose-bleed when eliza's ~~a bit blind, a bit old, a bit fat~~ Husky accidentally crashed into althea's face. and pity eliza's dad who didn't get to try our cooking though we had assured him that the vegetables were thoroughly washed and we didn't mistake rat poison for oil. and the biggest miracle of all miracles: the food actually tasted good.

five of us didn't take 3.5 hrs to cook a meal. we didn't.

Please go around squirting people, thanks! It is imperative said IMh patient should be checked back in quick. Please go around assaulting super angelic and concerned (friends) and classmates with perfectly innocent mahjong paper torn from the class bench and throwing it at their faces!!(hm friends are innocent too) Well, studying the incredibly vivid and extensive (and growing) list of abnormalous behaviour displayed by aforementioned imhp. The situation is dire and something should be done fast!

Running around the whole school(a block, b block, pe block, 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, ambushing in toilets), trying to splash your dear friends with water from that pink felon, is certainly not model behaviour =p!

But in conclusion, as char may say, though this may all seem like relatively normal/mild coming from disguised imhp (oldthea/bacteria/world) quek..(ah kinda failing miserably at the disguising part) We still want to give a shout out that we'd still love her no matter what and pray she'll get healthy soon! =D

ok guys, these are directions on how to get to stj place thingamagig from school. Cross over to NY side then take buses 74,852,156 (not recommended, it takes abit of time and there's always the chance that THAT GUY might get on, you should know what i mean), 157. Get off at macrichie (however the hell you spell it, but get off at the one with two bus stops). From the back bus stop (cant think of a better weay to put it, but the one that 74 stops at) take 980, 855, 165,166,132. Take the bus for a short journey and get off at the stop AFTER long house food center.

Now for directions to get there from Bishan MRT. From MRT walk over to the bus interchange, look for the one that 410 and 52 leaves from. Take 410 (white) or 52, all the way until you pass thomson plaza (its on the other side of the road, but DONT get off at the stop opposite thomson plaza) then get off. You'll have to cross the road from there and continue walking in the direction of long house (same direction the bus was moving)

When you get to the row of shop houses, look for pink (shudders)...

If you get lost or are clueless, wait for me at thomson plaza or something, i live opposite and i'll probably be walking there at about 6.30, so i can meet you there and bring you along.

Well guys, its been a long time since i've posted, but i just want to take this opportunity to thank you guys for teh awesome B'dae present. As some sort of testament to my appreciation i've drawn something for the class and coloured it (using the tablet haha) for V'day. ok when i first heard of this pageant i was rather shocked but i dunno about you guys.

apparently there is this inter-jc pageant that selects the most gorgeous female and the most hunky male in jc schools. i thought this kind of comp is only for poly and uni but it seems that junior colleges have a version of their own. and the more surprising thing is that the male contestant who won this comp in 2007 is a Hwachongian (the prom king of HC Grad Nite 2007). omg omg omg. both geraldine and ziwei agreed that the guy looks hideous but i shall not voice my comments. you can view the pictures for the 2007 comp at this link:

- By car/taxi
1. After passing the Mrt station, drive straight till the top of the hill/mound and turn left at Chai Chee Drive! Turn left again at Waringin Park (the next street). Turn left another 3 times and you should see number 15!

- By mrt
1. Alight at Kembangan Station.

2a. Take any bus to the top of the hill/mound:) It's the next stop unless you take bus 24 (it'll the second stop)

or
2b. Walk to the top of the hill.

0r (If you don't like taking buses and walking up hills/mounds)
2c. Call, and I can give you the more complicated and longer route to my house from the station! =D

3. Walk down the flight of stairs near the bus stop. Walk straight then turn right then turn left. Hm you should have reached. =D

1. Buses that go to the top of the hill/mound!: 67, 854, 28, 24, 31, 33 (I'm not too sure what else, i'll check first thing tmr =))

ok hope by now everyone should have known abt it alr... well maybe except a few ppl who didnt switch on their mobile :( tentatively this shld be the arrangement:

the party will be at eliza's house (duh... the title says it alr...) she will follow up with another post telling everyone how to get to her place and such. catch her on msn if you have further questions

date will be 31 Dec 2007 (another duh... if not why would it be called a COUNTDOWN?)

you can start coming in at 7pm (can come earlier to help eliza tidy up the house first<-- eliza said this not me)

we will be playing all thru the night (duh... it is a COUNTDOWN) eliza say can stay over until the morning

we will be having a potluck, meaning everyone will have to bring some food for the feast. if you dunno wat to bring or dun feel like bringing anything, gather some frens and make orders on that day (can be KFC or pizza... exercise your creativity for this :P)

because no one is submitting designs and ziwei has decided that she doesn't know how to draw, we have come up with a Plan that does not require people to draw!

this design is for the front of the tshirt. should be around the same position as the 'hwachong' on the hc pe tshirt:

and we will have an A on the back of the shirt, for Apathy, A grades, Attract Attention, or whatever other A things you want. A stands for so many things!

possible colour schemes:

overnight cycling

ok this is the first plan for the overnight cycling. (click on image for larger view)
starting point: NSRCC
destination: changi airport
approx. distance: 10.8 km (to and fro)
approx. time: 1.5 - 2 hrs (to and fro)
good thing is that we can stop over at changi airport for a rest or even a drink. can even see aeroplane :) haha
but the not-so-good thing is that the route is rather short. we'll definitely reach the chalet way before sunrise. another problem is that the security officers at changi airport may not allow bicycles to pass through. i am not so sure about this problem so we'll have to try out on that day :(

this is the second route (click image for larger view)

destination: marina bay (town)
approx. distance: 28.6 km (to and fro)
approx. time: 5 hrs (to and fro)
ok this is a really long route. should be good enough for those with good stamina. we should be able to arrive back at the chalet in the morning. but i dun think town has a lot of things to see late at night :(

oh anyway i have Saw IV and 30 Days of Night, both of which are still not up in Singapore cinemas. if u all wanna watch i can bring them :p
